1. To make Judo accessible to the local community

     We will achieve this by:-

    • Ensuring value for money in all aspects of customer services supplied by the club

    • Ensuring the club is ‘visible’ to the local community

    • Keeping students up to date with events involving the club

    • Building links with other Judo clubs and martial art schools

       

  2. To provide a safe environment in which all students feel able to achieve their full potential

     We will achieve this by:-

    • Promoting the club ethos that achievement is the success of perseverance. This is based on a student’s  Attendance, Attitude and (personal) Achievement

    • Complying with the NAKMAS Code of Conduct

    • Providing DBS checked Instructors

    • Making reasonable adjustments for students with special needs

    • Considering different teaching methods to support student’s understanding of the sport

    • Providing opportunities for students to excel

    • Striving to improve

    • Ensuring there are realistic Instructor-student ratios

    • Seeking to continually improve the training environment

    • Providing instructors who are first aid trained or who hold equivalent vocational qualifications (ELS, First Aider at Work, St Johns Ambulance )
